Applicants should submit (1) a resume, (2) copies of college and first semester law school transcripts (unofficial copies are acceptable), (3) a writing sample and (4) a brief statement explaining how he or she would contribute to the goal of creating a more diverse legal community in Charlotte.  If first semester law school grades are not available by the application deadline, applicants should submit any available grades with their application and submit additional grades as available.  Applications must be submitted no later than Friday, February 8, 2008 to the following address:

Any applications submitted by email should be sent in one electronic file.

Selected applicants will be invited to interview in Charlotte on Wednesday, February 27th.  The participating law departments and law firms will cover reasonable travel and lodging expenses for persons selected to interview.  The applicants selected for interviews will be invited to a reception on the evening of Wednesday, February 27th.
